Oily combo & mature skin -The only primer I’ll useI have mostly oily combination skin and find most primers to be too greasy for my skin type so ll my makeup ends up sliding off long before the end of the day. I pretty much gave up on using primers under my makeup at all - it just felt like a waste of money. That is until I found Plump Right Back. I’m in my 40s so I need exxxxtra hydration to make my skin look “youthful”. This serum primer gives me the needed moisture and keeps my makeup in place for hours. It’s a win-win for me!

Works well[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The NyxCosmetics - Plump Right Back Primer + Serum works well as a primer. I apply one to two pumps on my face and next and let the primer dry. While it is drying, the primer feels tacky, but once its completely dry, that tacky feeling goes away. The serum is semi-thick, but glides on smoothly. The serum does have a light, almost citrus like smell, but is not overpowering; nor do you smell it all day. I did find this primer helped with fine likes as it helped "puff out" those areas leaving my skin smoother. Overall, I was pleased with this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for an inexpensive primer.

Omg[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This might be Nyx's new star product. I keep it in the fridge for the extra cool and refreshing factor and it feels amazing and soothing on my face. The formula isn't too sticky or tacky and absolutely does make my skin visibly plumper and smoother and more alive looking. It grips EVERYTHING even through moisturizer and sunscreen. My makeup does not budge or sweat off with it. I am highly impressed. Goes on very smoothly and I used about 2 little pumps to cover my face. Oh and it doesn't feel too heavy either; it's pretty lightweight but not like there's nothing there. It just feels comfy.

light and easily absorbed[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging is cute! Plastic all around and has an easy pump. I have dry sensitive skin so this didn’t bother my skin so much. It has a gel-like consistency that easily absolves into the skin. There’s a light tacky feeling after applying on the face but it goes away after a minute. I cannot tell if this made a difference in foundation wear-wise because I don’t wear foundation, just concealer, but it did make my skin feel normal.I have other hydrating plump ups that are better but this is a great alternative for people who are on a budget and just want something to protect their skin from makeup.

Refreshing[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Using the serum + primer has been a nice experience. I enjoyed that it feels refreshing when you apply to your skin. I felt hydrated and refreshed. I also enjoyed that it's a gel and is easy to blend into the skin. Because it's a gel I was hoping that it wouldn't be sticky. Luckily, it isn't really. It felt slightly sticky, but nothing bothersome. The longer I had it on my face the less sticky it felt. If you're wondering if it leaves the skin dewy, it doesn't. The one thing I didn't notice was the plumping that it mentioned. It isn't a bad product, but I am giving it a three for that.

Another great NYX product.[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a fan of the NYX brand so I was excited to try this serum. First off, the bottle is so pretty and pumps out the right amount of product at a time. I usually use it between my toner and my moisturizer. The consistency is a little thicker than some other serums, but I actually liked it because it wasn't running everywhere. It worked well with keeping my moisturizer on my face during the day. I didn't really see any plumping benefits or anything different with the electrolytes it says it has. Overall, I liked the consistency, and the product worked well.
