When they say natural they mean it
I really like this pallet because I like the "no makeup, but still look flawless" look. The colors are designed to be subtle and mimic the natural highlights, flushes, and shadows of skin. So instead of thinking of this as we normally think of eyeshadow (to add or alter the color of our eyelids) this pallet should be used to make the eyelid neutral, add highlights, and mimic or deepen the shadows that create depth to the eye form. You would have to use quite a bit of this eyeshadow to even make it look like you have eyeshadow on. So if you want powerful hues or dramatic eye makeup, this is not the tool. If you want to look like you nothing on but graced with beautiful eyes, this is your go to!

An interesting buy
The natural palette has some good pigments and some not so good. The second shadow from the left is too chunky for my preference, but the others are wearable. It's nice for travel because it has enough to make simple daytime looks. The darkest brown is a very nice shade and I prefer it to my high end pigments! Overall this palette is definitely worth a try for the price!

I use this more than my UD palettes!!
I bought this thinking that it was going to be entirely matte (it's not) but that is OK! I reach for this more than my Nakeds coz it's convenient for putting into my purse so I can do touch ups & well the colors are beautiful together for the price esp. I luv ev NYX product I have tried so far. This really is the only e/s palette u need if ur traveling or need to have ur makeup w u & I put it over NYX JEP in Milk or Cottage Cheese to really make it stand out. If u want a dramatic palette this isn't the 1, but this is a good evday workhorse palette. I've come to expect gr8 quality from NYX; this is no exception!!

I respect the other users opinion but I completely have a different one to offer. For my skin color the colors are fantastic. I am fair yellow undertones. I have a habit of wetting my eyeshadow and find that this blends really well and stays all day. I've tried many other brands and this one has been the best thus far.

Chalky and Unpigmented
I saw very mixed reviews on this palette, but decided to give it a try anyway (mainly because it was so cheap). I wish I had saved my money and went with a higher end palette instead. The colors look beautiful from the outside, which is what drew me to it in the first place, but they are extremely unpigmented and chalky. They barely show up when you apply them and this is coming from a person who likes very subtle eye shadow looks as it is. This was even too light for me. When you finally apply enough to start getting some color on your lid it is extremely chalky looking and unflattering. They also don't blend very well with each other at all. I wouldn't waste your time on this palette.

When I first sampled this some colors did feel a little chalky and with the exception the dark brown one, they were not very pigmented and hardly showed on my olive skintone. However, applied over white shadow base, the colors popped out. The are amazing colors for the price. Worth getting.

One perfect color
The second color from the right is the PERFECT subtle shade for above-the-lid on my fair, neutral skin. Hey, NYX (or anyone else): Can you tell me what this color is, and if it's available as a solo color?
