It’s true – this new formula is not great :(Just need to reinforce what everyone else has been commenting – the old brow pencil was great – I used taupe, which was a perfect color – I previously use the Anastasia brow, pencil, which I’ll have to go back to because just like everyone else is saying, it’s crumbly, breaks off, leaves bits, and you have to constantly sharpen it – blaze with the product really fast. I tried the other mechanical Plastic pencil version, and it’s also less product and more effort to apply – neither one is great. So sad and hopefully they’ll bring back the previous formula. Either eyebrow pencil you use is less product, for different reasons. But also not the same color or finish. Such a bummer.

Bring back the old formula, this one is awful!!NYX Pleaaaase bring back the old formula!! The original worked so well, applied easily, and the color (Taupe) was THE perfect ashy taupe that no other brand could match (I’ve tried them all, literally). But this new formula is terrible. The pencil is so soft and chalky, it constantly breaks off… I have to keep sharpening it, so the pencil is dwindling fast. It goes on in a weird consistency too, just unnatural looking. And the color (Taupe) is darker and more unnatural looking than the original formula. Such a disappointment!!

Not the sameI have been using the nyx brow powder pencil in taupe for a few years, and this new version just isn't it. The previous version was perfect, no clue why they have changed the formula. The new version is very crumbly so I end up with chunks on my brows with even the lightest application. The color is also different. The previous version had this nice soft ashy color, and the new version is darker and comes off as harsher. I'm very disappointed in this change. Unfortunately this new formula is just unusable and I'll have to find something else. I hope they bring back the old formula one day.

Powder them brows![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not really much of a brow powder user but was still very interested in trying out this brow pencil by nyx. I received the espresso shade to try out. One side is the actual pencil itself and the other is a brow brush. Both caps are plastic. I've tried other ones where the Caps eventually break. Maybe because I put them on a little too hard, so time will tell if these hold up. The color is nice. Perfect for my dark brows. Color isn't super pigmented which is good because it makes it easier to apply to my preferred shade. I haven't had to sharpen it yet, so let's see if it cracks in a couple weeks

First of all, it’s a decent taupe and keeps the colors pretty well , perfect for a brunette like me. It applies pretty smoothly, sharpens easily,and doesn’t irritate.
I really like this eyebrow powder pencil, it’s light or dark depending on your usage and preferences. If you apply this with a light touch it looks dark brown, and you use a firmer touch,it’s s soft black not a stark black which is great.
It’s easily my go to to make my morning routine quick and easy. I absolutely always recommend to my friends.
