Good dupe for the Becca Matte Primer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this primer would be great for someone with super oily skin. My skin is just normal so while I do like a matte look, I don’t always feel the need for a mattifying primer. Especially one this mattifying - it REALLY takes away any shine. A little goes a long way so don’t use too much. The product goes on clear so I think it would be good even for someone who doesn’t want to wear makeup but wants to eliminate shine. I just don’t recommend pairing it with a matte foundation unless, again, you’re super super oily.

Passable..
Le seul + est qu'au premier abord la texture paraît assez grasse et pourtant une fois sèche elle laisse un fini très doux sur la peau!
En revanche elle n'a absolument RIEN floutée et à vraiment juste servi de base préparatrice comme une crème hydratante.. Il est plus adapté à une peau avec très peu d'imperfections qui ne cherche pas forcément à les flouter.
Mon fond de teint (can't stop won't stop) a fait des genres de traces comme s'il boulochait, je ne sais pas si c'est dû au primer ou non mais c'est la première fois que ça m'arrive, à voir avec un autre fond de teint..
Bref, pas exceptionnel, assez déçue..

Pour Matifier elle matifie ça c’est sûr! Petit sentiment d’inconfort genre visage figé à l’application mais très vite on s’y habitue et cela n’est plus gênant au bout de quelques minutes. Cette base est top! J’ai la peau grasse surtout sur le nez et le menton. Je l’ai testé la première fois pendant une journée de 8h à 17h où il faisait très chaud et lourd, mon maquillage était toujours on fleek en arrivant à la maison, sans retouche, ni papier absorbant comme je fais habituellement. Mon nez était légèrement brillant mais rien de bien grave.
Je le recommande vivement!

The worst primer ever
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m always open to new primers especially ones that don’t cost an arm and a leg. This one though is a hard pass. There is a difference between providing s matte finish and plain drying out someone’s skin.
There are a few cons for me that make me never want to use this again: way too thick which makes you have to really squeeze to get it out, the thickness works against you applying it to your face, and if it sits too long you get huge dry patches on your face. So you definitely can’t apply the primer and the donyour eyebrows and then do foundation, because by the time you got to applying foundation you’ll have several huge dry patches. It also doesn’t make the companion foundation work any better. I’d actually prefer my primer to be moisturizing if I’m using a mattifying foundation.

Good Value for Matte Primer - For Oily Skin Types
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the NYX Cant Stop Won't Stop Matte Primer complimentary for testing purposes. So, test I did.
Let’s start with this: if you have dry skin, pass on this product. BUT if you have oily skin…get ready to try the best valued primer out there.
It starts of super creamy & SUPER thick but seconds into the application it starts to get dry/sticky, smoothing your skin and preparing it perfectly for the foundation.
I have combination skin so i applied it only on the oily parts of my skin (T-zone) and it worked great.
I would not wear this primer everyday, but definitely for special nights when i need my makeup to last long.

New favorite primer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never had a gel like primer. This is a cool new primer for me. This primer is very effective and worth the money. Your makeup will DEFINITELY stay on! I think this primer is perfect for people with oily skin because it is drying. I have dry combination skin and I’d advise those with dry skin to use the primer right because you put on foundation. It is not a primer that you can let sit on your face while you do you eyebrows. Efficacité redoutable !
Je recommande à toutes cette base magique pour celles qui ont la peau grasse. J’ai testé plus d’une vingtaine de bases matifiantes à tous les prix et celle-ci a changé mon quotidien. Je commence à peine à briller en fin de journée, plus besoin de retouches et finis les complexes ! Attention, pour optimiser son efficacité il faut bien suivre la notice à savoir que c’est un produit qu’on pose, plus qu’on l’étale, avec le plat de la main par tapotement et on l’étire au minimum. À acheter les yeux fermés !

Decent coverage
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got mine via Influenster. This formula is lightweight without the primer. I tried with primer and it started caking up.. Kinda like dirt rolls when you exfoliate. Plus my skin felt a lil itchy. There's virtually no smell and it gives for coverage with a small amount. The primer seems to be water based. It goes on like Vaseline but eventually thins out. It definitely has a matte finish, but I wouldn't recommend for oily skin. It hugged all the nooks and crannies of my skin and was just messy after a few hours. Yikes. Will work for some but not all.
Their eye pencils are life though!!
