Still searching for a great makeup kit
The locks are EASILY broken. The wheels ground down after 4 maybe 5 months of rolling thru parking lots/sidewalks so that I had to drag it instead of rolling. I LOVE the zippered velcro pouches inside and have continued to use them on my subsequent kits (they fit nicely in my Makeup Forever messenger bag). Unfortunately these rad bags do not make up for the price tag. It's extremely difficult to take this kit up and down stairs (lifting from the top handle is a huge no-no because it pops the latches that hold the kit together). Seemed amazing for the first couple weeks but I quickly realized it wasn't what I needed.

I am writing a review on this item simply to help fellow PRO artists in their search for a durable and quality train case.
I purchased this case about a year ago, and have just ordered a new case from a different company. I carry quite a bit of product lets say right under 50 pounds. This case did not hold up. The handle broke off, the tiers fall apart in my car and all my product comes out. The metal is bent from using the handle so the tiers don't fit together as they should, they do not also lock properly. If you are a PRO artist that travels frequently with your train case, this is not the case for you. The wheels are not suitable for stairs so it is quite cumbersome if you have to take stairs and it gets heavy. Just my two cents, I hope my next train case purchase can handle the wear and tear for longer than a year. Right now I am relegated to using duct tape and bungee cords to keep my case together until my new bag comes.

Like the other review, I absolutely LOVED this case for almost a year. My work is 100% on location so I have to haul it up and down stairs and load it in and out of my trunk on a regular basis. I keep it pretty full with a studio-grade airbrush compressor along with the rest of my makeup. The metal on the bottom tier bent fairly quickly from using the handle. On my way to a client's recently, one of the latches broke and my product went flying! I was able to remedy the situation with a $9 luggage strap, but for the price I would have liked more than a few months of use before it started to break down. On the plus side, size-wise I can't imagine anything more perfect. My brushes and airbrush gear fit in the bottom with room to spare. The trays hold so much makeup and make it easy to organize. The top tier is also very roomy and big enough to hold a full-size box of kleenex, tons of lashes and many other items.

Love the design, unfortunelty doesn't hold up well
I bought this traincase about a year ago, and have had the same issues. Metal has bent out of shape, Velcro wrap for handle won't hold the weight of the package. It comes apart in my trunk from time to time. It also has rusted where it latches together :(

great kit for a reasonable price
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had for about a month now. I love it. Great price and fits all that i need as a makeup and hair artist! I don't store hair stuff in it though...perfect for lots of palettes and such. The only complaint is that the handle is terribly cheap and flimsy just like the other reviews. Also the latches don't stay put all the time if you pick it up by the top. I'm hoping that the handle doesn't snap :(

Produit au top cependant les clefs et les clips ne sont vraiment pas pratiques et ont l'air de casser rapidement.
